•Soy Candle Instructions

-As with all candles, the first burn is the most important.

-Allow your candle to burn for at least 1 hour or until wax melts all the way to the sides of the container- this will ensure tunneling doesn't occur.

-To prevent your soy candle from producing black soot, always trim your wick to 1/4" before lighting your candle.

-Do not burn candle for more then 4 hours at a time.

-When only 1/2" of wax remains, it's time to let your candle go.

-Feel free to wash your container with soap and water for reuse.

•How do you use a wax melt?

Step 1:

Break one to two cubes off of the solid wax brick and place in the top of your empty and clean warmer. Wax melts can be mixed with other fragrances to make your own unique fragrances. They can be melted and remelted as many times as desired or until the fragrance has burned off. The design varies based on brand, but some brands require melts specific to one style of warmer. Any warmer with a bowl on top fits a vast selection of wax melts.

Step 2:

Plug the electric wax warmer into a wall outlet. Flip the switch on the warmer to turn it on; many of these feature a light bulb so it is easy to tell when the warmer is on.

Step 3:

Turn the wax warmer off when you are finished using it and unplug it.

•Why does my soy candle have a white coating developing around the top of the candle and the sides of the glass?

This coating is known as Frosting. Frosting is a perfectly natural effect of using soy wax and is unique to vegetable waxes. It is the natural wax recrystallizing and trying to return to its natural state.

All soy waxes frost and is a sign that you are using 100% natural soy wax. Some soys have additives to stop this frosting however if you want a 100% natural product then expect frosting.

Frosting does not affect the performance of your candle and is something that you shouldn’t stress over.

To help minimize this, keep your candles warm overnight. Don’t leave them out especially when you know the temperature is going to drop. This is certain to promote frosting. Soy wax doesn't like difference in temperatures.

•Wicks used by TB CANDLES

CD (Stabilo) wick is a flat braided cotton wick with paper threads woven into the cotton. The reinforced construction of the wick is designed to ensure a consistent burn with higher fragrance loads, especially with softer, more viscous natural waxes. The superior rigidity of CD wick allows the wick to stand upright in a deep melt pool

CD Wicks Offer:

-Lead and zinc free

- Enchanced curling for self-trimming

-Minimized mushrooming, soot and smoke
